Stéphane Lémeret (VDS Racing Adventures): "We're going all out for victory in Div. 1!"

Mustang FR500 GT3VDS Racing Adventures will be entering two exceptional cars in the 24 Hours of Zolder. The attack will be spearheaded by the Mustang FR500 GT3, manned by Stéphane Lémeret and Raphaël van der Straten. They will be supported for the occasion by Eric de Doncker and Maxime Martin. The Ford Mustang FR500 GT3 competes exclusively in the Belgian GT Championship; and the American power beast is not to be admired in any other championship. This quartet, with their unique muscle car, is aiming at a podium place in Division 1. On the other hand the Mustang FR500 GT4 will be in the hands of Christian Deridder, Jéremy Princen and Amaury Heurckmans. A fourth driver will be announced shortly In the event that the Mustang GT4 reaches the finishing line Deridder will be able to claim himself Division 2 champion.

"Still enjoying a few days of well deserved holidays following on from the 24 Hours of Spa and the 1000 km. of Portimao", is how Stéphane Lémeret started off his story, but when it comes to ambitions, the highly likeable journalist-racer uis pretty clear cut: "We're going all out for victory in Division 1. We'll be carrying out a final test on Thursday at Circuit Zolder. De Doncker's technical team will be on hand as reinforcement for the Zolder endurance race; as such I'm fully confident we can achieve an excellent result with our good line-up. Victory in Division 1 is our target, we're out to beat the other GT3s. In principle the Mégane is unbeatable. However if we work well the Mustang should finish the race without experiencing any problems. We'll be adapting the rhythm in order not to overtax the car.."
