Ellen Lohr and Freddy Loix signed at TT Racing! Luc Goris and Chris Mattheus, and 24u.be yours truly, have been keeping a secret for some time. Two high-profile drivers are now officially added to the list, so here they are: ex-DTM racing lady Ellen Lorh and Belgian rally all-star Freddy Loix are joining on the TT Racing Audi TT of Chris Mattheus.
Introducing Freddy Loix will hardly be necessary. He's been carrying Belgium's rally hopes in the last few years, also competing at the Zolder 24 Hours before. The Limburg-based Belgian is highly experienced, just like his female co-driver Ellen Lorh. She was only 14 when she booked her frst karting successes – then growing up to Formula Ford, German F3 and... DTM and some international rally raids.
Ellen Lohr, currently a TV-commenter at German TV-chain ARD, had been looking for some nex experiences. She joined Mitsubishi Ralliart, running the 'baja's' at Spain, Turkey and Dubai. She even joined the European Truck GP, and ultimately racing her 'last' race at the 2003 Nurburgring 24 Hours on a Chrysler Crossfire. Still she was caught having occasional come-backs in the Porsche Supercup. Now she's once again present for a 24 Hours effort, along with Freddy Loix, Chris Mattheus and Bert Redant.
