Kuismanen clinches pole for 24 Hours of Zolder - Hardly any changes in third session During the third half hour qualifying session most teams ran in their brakes and other components and parts. Both the Chrysler Vipers GTS-R were once again faster than the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup S of First Motorsport. At the end of the session Bert Longin registered a few excellent lap times and was able to keep in close contact with the pace set by the American veterans. Some ten cars remained in the pits. For many teams the training work was over and now they are hard at work setting the cars up in a 24 hours configuration.
Accent Racing Team improved on their previous time, with Cracco and cohorts climbing up into nineteenth place with their Dodge Viper Competition Coupé. The two Ford Mustang (GT3 en GT4) were also able to knock a few tenths off yesterday's time. The best Silhouette is the Renault Mégane Trophy of Delahaye Racing Team, best touring car is the Moore International BMW M3 GTR and First Motorsport are on pole in the Belgian GT.
 Also worth noting that six years ago Kuismanen Competition was also on pole for the 24 Hours of Zolder. Back then Vincent Vosse was three tenths faster than Duncan Huisman's pole time set yesterday night, although it is said that the Chrysler Viper GTS-R has now become faster. No doubt the span of time will have chipped in its two cents worth, because we're now half a decennium further on and the chassis will have clocked up quite a few extra kilometres.
