Bad luck spreading at Zolder

Markant Racing - De Laet/Vollenbergh/Leinders/Van RossemAfter the Kuismanen Viper more teams are struggling with machine deamons. GTB polesitter Markant had to rejoin its stands for some repairs. Vollebergh had a minor collision and had to come in for repairing damage. Nog mechanics are also dealing with the gearbox. Apparently cooling has been a problem.

The AD Sport mechanics have been pretty busy as well. The #29 Porsche had a suspension problem while the #39 (Coast Racing entered) Porsche suffered cooling troubles at the very same moment. Another Porsche #23 by Van Ham Racing had a similar colling problem, while a new driveshaft was put on the G&A BMW Z3. The Van Herck Mazda is currently stuck at it's box for transmission related repairs.

Kuismanen Racing was troubled already early on; owing to electronics trouble, a collision (front right suspension replacement) and later on a fire.

Audi TT - Mattheus/Loix/LohrThe Audi TT has been at it's box for a while with it's front end opened for repairs. Engine troubles truck once again for the #10 lack and yellow race car. The team is urging to fit a totally new engine into the car. Also the Speedlover team had been forced to fit in a new engine before the race on the #57 Porsche. This caused concerns during the race, forcing the pilots to come in for regular check-ups.

Still the true problem child of these Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder is definately the Saker... After fitting a new dashboard during the race (and even starting it without), it was seen on fire at the refuelling zone. Later on engine troubles made it a very regular pit lane visitor. Still the Dutchmen refuse to give up their effort. They are still going round, however in 48th position and way behind.
