Drivers Challenge : ranking before the Euphony 24 Hours of ZolderThe top spots are taken by Pertti Kuismanen and his regular team mate Vincent Vosse. Their Chrysler Viper GTS-R scored well at every race and the double victory during the LMES weekend offered them some precious extra points, putting them a mere 30 points ahead of Marc Goossens. Goossens has scored maximum credits at both the New Race Festival and the Spa Euro Race yet he has lost some valuable points during the other two Belcar weekends. Nevertheless Marc could narrow down this gap considerably depending his score at the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder.
The 24 Hours race also holds opportunities for Rudi Penders and Franz Lamot. Thanks to their very consistent finishes they are now only a few points behind their former team mate Marc Goossens.
Behind these five the gap is already more than 50 points, yet the Zolder 24 Hours race holds double credits, to be scored at three different time slots during the race. These scores are likely to be completely shaking up the ranking.
Anthony Kumpen and Bert Longin don't even appear in the top 10. The GLPK duo didn't compete in every race of the championship and crashed out during the Spa Euro Race, missing some more valuable points. Still both drivers are believed to be playing a lead role in the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder on their Chrysler Viper.
