After 18 Hours: the Corvette is back!Never give up. After nightly trouble and a very long chase into the morning, the SRT Corvette C5-R has almost regained the lead. The same attitude is taken by the highly troubled Kuismanen team, not giving up in spite of an incredible series of minor and major trouble, including no less than four times putting the car on fire at refuelling. The KS Silhouette is proving surprisingly reliable, comfortably in fourth overall. GTB contenders Penders-Lamot-Couwberghs-Dujardyn are still confortably on the overall podium, yet not able to keep up with the pace of the Corvette and the PSI Porsches. The #5 PSI Porsche fell out of the top-10 ranking after a gearbox replacement. In Touring the #91 GS Motorsport BMW (TB!!) has made up many places, currently in 12th overall and leading the overall Touring division.
