MSE has it's BMW Coupé prepared for the Zolder 24 Hours For the Genk, Belgium based MSE team this will be their fifth 24 Hours of Zolder. MSE will be entering a Clas 3 BMW Coupé. The technical crew has been working hard since it's first trip the new car took at Spa. Team manager Dominiek Paret, already leading his 10th Zolder 24 Hours race, comments: "We're leveraging our solid experience from past entries. Wealrteady managed to take some great results doing just that." He's aiming precisely at the 2004 edition of the 24 Hours of Zolder, when MSE took two podium spots. "It's already great when you're entering two cars and bringing them to the finish without problems... so taking honours with both cars is really exceptional."
Paret has been managing the continuous improvement of the car: "It was our choice not to take the car to the Lausitzring race, and prepare for the Zolder 24 Hours race instead", Paret comments. "We really wanted the perfect preparation for the Zolder race. So we specially trimmed the motor management for endurance racing. Moreover we've put on new brakes. Lastly we'll be relying on a highly experienced line-up for the race."
"I'm convinced our drivers Peter Beckers, Jef van Samang, Bart van Samang and Kurt Raes are a really homogeneous quartet. If only Lady Fortune will also be joining our ranks we could get a very good result in this year's 24 Hours of Zolder. The Class 3 competition is a very fierce one, yet if we can simply stay out of trouble we could go looking for a class podium finish!"
