Tenth 24 Hours entry for Coast Racing Team For Coast Racing their 24 Hours of Zolder 2006 entry is a special one. The team of Frank Vancraeynest is celebrating it's 10th participation at the Zolder 24 hours race. A Porsche 996 GT3 will be the team's preferred weapon for competing in Class 2. "Reliability will be a crucial asset for racing around-the-clock twice. We believe our Porsche can offer that reliability, allowing us to finish higher up in the rankings", says team owner Frank Vancraeynest.
Their best result up to now was eigth overall. Given the fierce competition it will be hard to beat this result. The Ostend, Belgium based team will not rely on fate or good luck: "We've done all the necessary revisions for this 24 Hours race", Vancraeynest continues. "Still it's not as easy as it used to be. Times have changed. We can't deny a few front running cars have become really dominant, making it very hard to get a good result for those smaller teams like ours."
As of today only two driver names are confirmed at Coast Racing. Frank Vancraeynest will share his Porsche wil his regular team mate, Dutchman Kevin Leest. The third and fourth drivers will be confirmed later on.
