CEO-Racing entering at least two Porsches at Zolder

CEO-Racing - Porsche 996 GT3 RSCEO Racing will be entering at least two cars for the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder 2006. The team previously known as Markant Racing remains in favor of the Porsche make. In the past we saw some class podium finishes from Markant. Yet his first 24 Hours entry was the most beautiful, according to Bert Van Rossem: “Every 24 Hours race has this very special feeling, yet my first one was the most beautiful. We finished third in class and ninth overall in a small Porsche and with little experienced pilots. We took the class podium only in the ultimate few laps, after running a chase throughout the last racing hour."

The first CEO Racing car will be a 996 GT3 RSR Porsche for the Danny De Laet and Joost Vollebergh duo. It’s not yet been decided who will be the third driver. For the dutch trio Peter van Hoepen, Pim van Riet and Robert den Otter the team will be preparing a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup.

CEO-Racing - Porsche 996 GT3 Cup"On the 996 GT# RSR Porsche we decided to switch the sequential gearbox for a regular one. On the 996 GT3 Cup Porsche we’ll have a new engine and a new gearbox. It’s our target to finish the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder with the least of trouble”, Bert Van Rossem tells us. The team owner himself will be sharing a 996 GT3 RSR Porsche from PSI Experience with Fred Bouvy and Jos Menten. “Personally I’d like to go for a top-3 finish, yet somehow it will be all or nothing."
