Thursday 10/08/06: Pit lane commentsRudi Penders – ProSpeed Competition: "The Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder is the most important race in the championship. Usually it's also the one deciding on the champioship. So we have high hopes, I'd love to go with the same result as last year's edition. Yet that might be too ambitious, given the fierce competition. Still we should be able to get a fine result with our 996 GT3 RS Porsche."
Christophe Pampel – European Formula Racing: "We just did our first test and the car is evolving the right way. For the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder the European Formule Racing team decided to do a total rebuild of the car. We can't really do any predictions. The car is still new, yer full of potential."
Georg Severich – GS Motorsport: "Today we were running two Porsches and one BMW M3. On one Porsche we've been doing preparations for the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder. The pilots have been burning in spare parts, among other things. The two other race cars were actually used for an incentive event. For the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder we'll be entering both Porsches and the BMW GT V8. By the way we're still looking for some pilots bringing a budget. Interested drivers should get in touch with team manager Wolfgang Koepp." VZW 24u.be - Jan-Frans Lemmens on Thursday 10 August 2006 at 14:05. |
