GLPK takes provisional pole Interesting top-10 Anthony Kumpen took the provisional pole for the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder on Wednesday during the mandatory night training. Kumpen (GLPK Racing) put a strong 1:29,032 on the timetables being over one second faster than Maxime Soulet (SRT). Marc Goossens was third fastest on the Eurotech Marcos LM600. Fourth was a very effort from the Pink Pig 996 GT3 RS Porsche. Ten minutes before closing time a car got stuck at post 1. Apparently the team had been testing how long they could race a Porsche before the spare fuel tank would get empty.
 Guino Kenis was stealing hearts by parking the G&A Racing Mosler MT900R fifth on the grid. Kenis managed to keep the strong CEO Racing PSI Experience Porsche 996 GT3 RSR behind. On the CEO Racing GT3 RS Porsche Ruben Maes put in the 7th fastest time, ahead of the GS Motorsport BMW V8 GTR. The #8 AD Sport Biturbo Porsche and the #24 BMW Silhouette are within the top-10 cars.
The first Class 3 car was to be found in 12th spot overall. Arjan van der Zwaan (Flandria Rent Racing) was .053 sec faster than Johan Empsen on the Belgium Racing Ultima GTR. The #54 CEO Racing 996 GT3 Cup Porsche was third in class.
 Class 4 saw the Accent Racing 996 GT3 Cup Porsche taking the lead, ahead of the GPR Porsche 997. For GPR it was an eventful qualifying: The right rear brake claw broke off. Then some oil was spilled onto the hot brake disk, causing a small fire. Up to then the qualifying had been going just fine, and we all did complete our mandatory night laps. So tomorrow is another day, Guillaume Dumarey comments.
The qualifying session was stopped for several minutes after a car had spilled oil on the track. The race directors went for a code red, allowing the track marshalls to clean up.
