PSI Experience on Michelin tires on Saturday!

Qualifying didn’t go flawless for the CEO Racing – PSI Experience 996 GT3 RSR Porsche. The pilots couldn’t get hold of the car’s full potential due to a roll bar problem. On thursday morning the team decided to swap the roll bar. “Yesterday Fred Bouvy immediately went for a flying lap. Then we went looking for the right set-up. However the handling didn’t improve, so we decided to replace the roll bar. This morning we immediately felt the difference. Handling was a lot better”, Jos Menten explains. “We managed to take second best in a wet qualifying session. Only the Eurotech Marcos was 1.5 sec faster.”

The CEO Racing – PSI Experience will also be benefiting from Michelin tires. Now it’s still racing on Dunlops, yet the new tires will be ready for warm-up on saturday. The tire choice seems related to the nice performance on Michelins at the Paul Ricard FIA GT race. Menten and Belloc finished second overall on a PSI C6-R Corvette.
