“Pink Porsche” chooses championship points over repair In spite of some damage at the front right (due to a minor on-track collision) the team decided to keep going and delaying the repair of the damaged front spoiler. “We absolutely wanted to score maximum points at the 12 hours mark. So we decided to delay the repairs”, the team reports.
“After collecting our points at 5 a.m. this morning we put the car in the box. The radiator was unprotected after parts of the front spoiler had broken off. So we decided to replace the front bodywork, and also putting on new brakes. All is going well now, so we keep our hopes for the podium.”
