24u.be... looking behind the scenesWhen looking at the crew list some will have suspected. This whole initiative could hardly be a one-man effort. Bringing lots of news articles, photos, interviews, live announcements etc. to your (computer) screen is a serious task for a lot of benevolent people – from all ranks: students, teachers, self employed and professional editors, even including someone from one of Belgium's prime commercial broadcast TV stations. It's an odd crowd, yet sharing two things in common: their love for track action and their effort to deliver the best possible service.
That is to you... fellow motorsports lover. You're the one hopefully satisfied with the information we share. The regular crowd for the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder is an experienced one, yet also open to anyone. 'Casual' people are very much at home at Zolder, sharing the feelings an dreams of their on-track heroes. Our mission is to extend the impressive crowd at Zolder even beyond the boundaries of the Terlaemen region. The 24u.be initiative is happy to bring the race, the fuzz and the on-track emotions right into your living room, hobby room or even to the office...
During the 24 Hours race (as well as during qualifications) no less than 12 people will be working for 24u.be. That's not even counting several sponsoring companies sustaining this initiative with their own efforts. So this website turned itself into a small 'company'. This company is providing a 'free' service to all of you – hopefully once again several 10.000's of visitors – including the sponsors and the teams. For some of the feeds we're very happy to rely upon 'external' services: the live timing and the live video feed. We hope you will also appreciate their effort to give you those little extra's.
Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder. BIG? yep... GREAT? Be sure. So be there or be online...!
