Racing For Belgium opts for David Sterckx as their third driver Excellent news for the Aston Martin fans. The Racing for Belgium DBRS9 will be on the grid of the 24 Hours of Zolder. Thanks to the Yacco - l'huile des records" David Sterckx, will be reinforcing the Wim Coeckelbergs team. Sterckx, a reputable ex-Formula Nissan driver (the previous World Series) will next weekend be enjoying his first taste with the 007-power beast. In the ADAC GT Masters race Sterckx together with the Dutchman Ron Marchal will be dropping down to the Circuit Zolder to compete in the seventh and eight rounds of the German GT3 championship...the ideal preparation for the 24 Hours of Zolder.
"I really appreciate British racing cars, and I honestly believe that the Aston will be easier to handle than the gigantically enormous Lister. On top of that the Lister has a right-and-drive. I'm really looking forward to my first few miles and can't wait to get behind the wheel of the DBRS9 ", David Sterckx told us. Sterckx and Marchal will be receiving the full support of race owner Racing For Belgium Wim Coeckelbergs during the event. .In the meanwhile we are still awaiting the announcement of the team's fourth driver.
