4th qualifying session: Mollekens grabs pole in the last few seconds!

Kurt Mollekens surprised one and all by grabbing pole position in the last few seconds of the session. Spectators were entertained to a great duel for pole between Mollekens, Radermecker, Heylen and Vosse. All protagonists involved dug deep into their resources and when the flag was waved everything pointed to a pole going to 'Rader'. Howvere ...that was without taking into account the incredibly fast time of Mollekens in the third sector! Corvette and Viper vs. de Gravity Moslers, quite a show!

Notwithstanding being two tenths down the PK Carsport-driver kept his foot flat down. And the outcome was that highly important pole position, from an advertising point of view! Anthony Kumpen, who had called us from Italy, was really over the moon "We knew that Kurt could do it! From a publicity angle pole is rally important. We have been working together with Kurt for the last two years, and we know what he's capable of. We drove a fair amount during qualifying, and the car is ideally set-up fro the drivers. We're also highly pleased with David Hart. He's been working hard and really feels great in the car!"

AD Sport kept a low profile during practice. It was only during the last qualifying session that Heylen really showed us what the AD Viper was capable of. With an excellent third time he's only giving way to the Corvette and the #24 Mosler. Vosse had to be happy with a fourth place, whilst François Duval came out as the best Porsche driver. The ProSpeed Competition-driver kept amongst others Marc Goossens and Markus Palttala behind him. "However we don't have such a fast car as the others ", Palttala remarked. "We don't have a Porsche-kit; in other words as far as we're concerned the competition is in reality racing in a different category."

In Division 3 the Porsche Biturbo of AD Sport clocked up the best lap time. NGT Racing continues to dominate in Division 2.
