ProSpeed Competition leads after one and a half hours - Two Moslers experiencing problems...Dead on 16.00hrs Kurt Mollekens led the field off to a fine start. The PK Carsport-driver easily kept the Gravity Moslers behind him in the First Left... but a few laps later he had to let both Moslers through. Mollekens settled in to third place, but shortly later was able to climb back up into second spot. Problems forc ed Vincent Radermecker to come into the pits after some three laps. A broken wheel cost the #24 heel quite some time. Further bad news for the Moslers when the G&A-model came into the pits with a broken drive shaft.
Vincent Vosse then took over the lead, and only relinquished same during the safety-car faze. After almost one hour the race management had to react. On the McDonald's Racing Team Porsche the right rear wheel broke off, after which the car came to a standstill in the chicane. Seeing the car was immobilised in a dangerous zone the Porsche was towed away and brought back to the pitlane. Bouillon's team comprised of Voets, Janssens and Kuus are the first to make use of the new regulations to have the car towed back to the pits for repairs.
Maxime Soulet takes over the lead with the GPR Porsche #56. But not for long, because when the safety-car lets the field loose Fred Bouvy chases after him. The experienced ProSpeed-driver only needs one lap to get passed Soulet. He systematically builds up a lead. "There you are, we are meeting the promises we made. Full out, and this during the entire race ", they joke at ProSpeed. A little later Soulet comes in to the pits, whereby First Motorsport Porsche #50 takes over he lead. An excellent performance from this quartet, seeing they had to start from the pitlane. Vincent Vosse is in third spot, with in his wake the Flying Finn Markus Palttala. Kurt Mollekens completes the top 5.
Leader in Division II is the #164 BonGou-Speedlover Porsche. In Division III AD Sport is setting the scene.
