Great battle up front - Four makes in the top 5 - AD Sport excels with Biturbo!

Early on in the race we are seeing two different strategies. Almost all teams opted for an early pit stop during the first safety-car appearance. But if everyone applies the same strategy it is obviously to nobody's advantage... unless there is an ugly duckling amongst them! At ProSpeed they gambled for an alternative strategy with the #52. Bouvy stayed out, saved fuel, and remained on the track for as long as possible. Therefore after three hours of racing there is still only 1 pit stop registered for the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. With as outcome....that the protagonists have now also taken over the lead.

At this moment David Loix leads Yves Lambert, in de Gravity Racing International Mosler #25, by a good 45 seconds. Albert Vanierschot is in third place, one lap down. Vanierschot is keeping to a tight rhythm, and through an error from one of the Division 1 cars, the Porsche Biturbo is ready to take over the command of the race. The higher consumption is not hindering the AD Sport Porsche too much.

David Hart made a small error at the beginning of his stint, and lost a few places. But after roughly one hour of driving he has regained quite a few places. The Dutchman is presently holding fourth place in his PK Carsport Corvette, one and a half laps down on the leader. Noticeable also is the excellent battle between the various makes. Highly competitive with four different makes battling it out for the lead!

In Division II it is still NGT Racing dictating the rhythm. The Porsche drivers of Marc Maton are doing well, and have built up a solid lead ahead of the First Motorsport Porsche bearing number 150. The Porsche of GS Motorsport is presently running third in their class.

Division III is entirely in the hands of AD Sport. As mentioned earlier they are presently touring around in fourth place overall. An exceptional performance from the AD-boys! Second in this division is the CEO-Racing Porsche 996 GT3 RS, closely followed by the family Thiers model.
