Great battle up front - strategic start earns PK maximum points

After six hours of racing it is time to allocate some points. Big winner is PK Carsport, who notwithstanding a stubborn gearbox has run off with a maximum number of points. Mollekens complains about a problem with the third gear, but even so the green Corvette is running well. Behind Mollekens at this moment we have the Division III Porsche Biturbo of AD Sport, some 20 seconds down. Harry Steegmans is ready and waiting to take over the lead should a GT3 make a mistake! The 'King of Zolder' team is putting pressure on the leaders.

Third in the ranking is the #50 Porsche of First Motorsport. This car was from the outset one of the outsiders, but a problem with the engine kept the car from getting to the grid: "Indeed, the camshaft caused us problems. But we managed to get the car ready in time. After that it was up to the boys to bring the car up through the pack ", Jo Jamers of First Motorsport told us.

The GPR Porsches fight back. After a short absence they are slowly climbing up the ranking. Presently the - #56 is fourth, ahead of team mates of the #55. Jan Heylen in the Dodge Viper Competition Coupé is making up lost time. The AD Sport driver has climbed up into sixth place, with in his wake the #51 Porsche 997 GT3 Cup of ProSpeed Competition. NGT Racing has also come up into the top ten. Bart Cauwberghs is placed eighth overall, an excellent run by the NGT-boys. CEO Racing is keeping a steady pace and holding firm. With a second place in class and a ninth place overall everything is running smoothly. The top ten is rounded off by Tom Langebergh in the #8 BonGou-Speedlover Porsche.

Major observation: we have lost the #52 ProSpeed Competition Porsche out of the top ten. A potential candidate for victory they fell back when the clutch gave up the ghost. Heavy pressure put on by Duval, Bouvy, Loix and Fumal claimed its victim. In addition we have the leaders of Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 all within the top ten. After six hours of racing the battle has never before been quite so heavy. The GT3-concept works and the repatriation also works as it should. After six hours of racing we only have one official retirement.
