GPR grabs victory after problems at First Motorsport - Feather for AD Sport! The Italian charisma shone on through in Zolder. The équipe of Pino perfomed faultlessly, with the #56 Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. Maxime Soulet had the honour to bring the car over the finish line, and give the team their first win in the 24Hours of Zolder. Strategically speaking everything was looking good for GPR, allowing Pino Sperlinga to carry the large trophy home later on this evening. AD Sport gambled on two horses, and scored full points. The #228 Porsche Biturbo with entrepreneur Albert Vanierschot himself finished second overall, ahead of the #51 ProSpeed Competition Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. The other AD car the Dodge Viper Competition Coupé finished third in Division 1 (and fourth overall). A feather in the cap for the Vanierschot group, because their Viper was the only car to finish the race without experiencing any major technical problems.
Winner in Division III is clearly the AD Porsche, ahead of the #267 Accent Racing Team Porsche, and the #216 McDonald's. With the later the word retirement does not exist. Division II was rather designed for NGT Racing, which had no problem in finishing fifth overall. Second and third in Division II were the two First Motorsport Porsches, with respectively the #150 ahead of the #155.
Let us remember that this edition will be recalled for being one of great quality. It was never quite so exciting as yesterday and today. Congratulations to Patricia Indekeu and SRO Belgium, a fantastic job!
