Comments from the winners: Goossens, Dumarey, Dumarey and Soulet!

For Marc Goossens this is his second victory in three participations. As with Maxime Soulet hje did this with two entirely different cars. With a Corvette C5-R, a GT1 car and now with a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup. In 2005 it was Goossens who won with the SRT Corvette and in 2006 it was Soulet. One year later they are together on the top rung of the podium with the Porsche straight out of the Garage Pino Racing stables.

Maxime Soulet: "Absolutely great. But it's not easy to bring a car to the finish, knowing that you're going to win. Loads goes through your mind. Strange noises, that finally transpire to be nothing to worry about. And then you spot the flag, an absolutely incredible feeling. We did everything Pino asked us to do. We tried to avoid over taxing the equipment. Everyone involved kept to the scheduled plan. Technically everything was perfect, so what more can you ask for."

Marc Goossens: "We've won! I must admit that one hour before the end I didn't believe in it anymore.... but it is a race where you have to effectively reach and cross that finish line."

Guillaume Dumarey: "We achieved what we had fought for. Now we're going for the title. If I can count properly we're now leading in the championship. The ball is in our court and we're going for it. Hopefully Donington didn't throw a spanner in the works for us, when one of our competitors finished a few places higher up..."

Maxime Dumarey: "My second participation, and my first victory. I don't actually have much more to add to what my team mates have told you. We couldn't do better than that! The team carried out their assignment to perfection and it's an excellent windfall for the entire GPR team."
