G&A Racing go for continuity with Kenis-De Keersmaecker-Mattheus-Smets Another year and G&A Racing are once more placing all their trust in the Mosler MT900R as their weapon for these 24 Hours of Zolder. Back in 2006 the American-British car with its 5-liter BMW-engine clinched sixth place overall, coming out on top in Class 2. Last season G&A Racing moved on up to Division 1, but unfortunately the team with the driving force of Guino Kenis and Michael De Keersmaecker were unable to repeat their 2006 stunt. The Mosler was forced to retire after a mere three hours due to a gearbox problem.
Notwithstanding that G&A Racing is on the right track with the Mosler. The car handles perfectly in the rain resulting in an initial victory back in 2007 In 2008 G&A Racing pulls off the feat once again at Spa-Francorchamps. Notwithstanding strong competition in Division 1 Kenis and De Keermaecker take the spoils in the first BGTC-race, the curtain raiser for the 25 Hours VW Fun Cup-meeting. It should also be mentioned that Kenis grabbed pole spot for the second race, however the G&A-duo were unable to cash in on this excellent start position.
Continuity is the name of the game at G&A Racing, as the same quartet as in 2007 will be at the wheel. Guino Kenis and Michael De Keersmaecker can count on the support of Patrick Smets and the Belgian Monegasque Chris Mattheus.
