Bouillon-Voets counting on victory in D3 - Stepec and Perrin reinforce the troops

McDonald's Racing - Porsche 996 GT2-RFrançois Bouillon and Jean-Claude Voets are looking to the 24 Hours of Zolder with full confidence. McDonald's Racing is presently third in the Division 3 rankings and with a good performance in the Zolder endurance race the duo could once again be battling it out for the title. Earlier this month PMB Motorsport, which runs the Porsche 996 GT2-R for McDonald's Racing, competed in the 24 Hours of Spa and not entirely without success.

Notwithstanding the fact that the ex-PSI car regularly experienced problems at the beginning of the season, matters took a turn for the better in the Belgian Ardennes: "The GT2-R that competed in the 24 Hours of Spa is the team's second car and it ran very well. With Kaufman and Heyer at the wheel laps of 2'25 were being recorded", François Bouillon told us.

McDonald's Racing - Porsche 996 GT2-RUnfortunately the beautiful 996 GT2-R did not survive the night: "In Spa the car retired as the result of a small fire which could have been avoided. Damage is pretty limited and won't affect the preparations for the 24 Hours of Zolder, where this car will also be entered. The drivers' names for this car are not finalised as yet but will be made known shortly."

Ambitions are pretty clear regarding the 24 Hours of Zolder. Together with Thierry Stepec and Jean-Claude Perrin, both active in the French Porsche Carrera Cup, McDonald's Racing is looking to clinch a victory: "We're hoping to finish as high as possible in the overall ranking and a victory in our class. Jean-Claude and I are getting to understand the car and the car itself has become reliable ", Bouillon commented, looking to the future.
