Powercars Racing opts for Van Oost-Van Delm-Van Elslander

Powercars Racing will for the first time this year be kicking off with its own structure in the Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder. During the winter months this small team acquired the last built Porsche 996 GT3 Cup from the successful NGT Racing team, going on to dominate Division 2. As most of the competition often steered clear of the 'Cup' and 'GT4'-class, it looks as though Powercars Racing should easily speed towards clinching the class title... however the Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder is a wear and tear battle for both man and machine. As such the fight for the title might well be put on hold up until the race at Spa-Francorchamps.

Under the leadership of team manager Yves de Groote Powercars Racing is heading off for its first 24 hours race at Circuit Zolder. The highly reliable Porsche 996 GT3 Cup will be in the hands of in house driver Olivier van Oost, who on this occasion will be joined by Peter van Delm and Dirk van Elslander. There is a possibility that a fourth driver might be brought in for this gruelling Limburg race.
