François Bouillon: McDonald's Racing is ready to do battle!

During the summer McDonald's Racing made a major U-turn. In the Total 24 Hours of Spa, held in the framework of the FIA GT championship, the team led by Patrick Taymans showed its true colours and the Belgian GT car hopes to reap the benefits from same. François Bouillon, one of the McDonald's Racing Porsche 996 GT2-R drivers clarifies: "In Spa the team received the help from mechanics who know the car inside out. With amongst others the assistance from Fred Gonitz we made a great step forward. The engine is finally running as it should and had it not been for the minor problem in Spa the Porsche could easily have run on through to the finish."

For the Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder Bouillon is hoping for an excellent result: "We'll be welcoming numerous guests from our main sponsor McDonald's. You can't believe how spirited the McDonald's Racing Team is within our organisation. On Saturday and Sunday we want to thank all those who put their trust in us by producing a top result. Together with my regular co-driver Jean-Claude Voets and the Frenchmen Jean-Claude Perrin and Thierry Blaise we are aiming at least for a class victory in Division 3."

Team owner Patrick Taymans, who runs the McDonald's Porsche via the PMB Motorsport structure, is presently on the look out for drivers for the second car. This is an identical model of the McDonald's Racing model, possibly the one which took part in the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
