Weather: Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder in the most glorious weekend of the year?Meteorologists have forecast that the weekend of 30th-31st August will most probably be the most glorious weekend of the year. Spectators will be able to enjoy a thrilling race at Zolder with temperatures in the region of 27 degrees. The Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder has the reputation of being a wear and tear battle for both man and machine, and with these climatic conditions this will definitely be the case! All teams had better prepare themselves to face a warm weekend!
Milder temperatures are expected on Wednesday and Thursday, but an important factor is that it will remain dry. During these two days the mercury will hover around the 22 degrees. It will be interesting to see whether the best qualifying times are clocked on Wednesday night, or during the Thursday midday session.
