Sport Garage will start from third row of the grid following a dispensation from the sporting commission

The French Sport Garage will be allowed to start from the row of the grid. The lap time of 1:33,874 by Vincent Vosse gives the Ferrari boys the right to battle out the race from the fifth place...however seeing Pedro Lamy did not complete the compulsory night laps there was some lack of clarity regarding the start position of the scarlet red power beast.

Christian Petit: "We immediately requested a dispensation and this was approved b the sporting commission. As a result we will be allowed to take up our place on the grid and not start from the back of the pack. Somewhat logical really, taking into account the status and experience of our Portuguese driver.
