Menzo 24 Hours of Zolder: reactions after the qualifying sessions

Anthony Kumpen - Gravity Racing International: "I'm highly satisfied with this pole position. Together with Vincent and Bert everything looks promising. We know the car and we know how to handle the race. I have every faith in the Mosler. Last year the drivers made a few mistakes, whereby the drive shafts gave up he ghost, but that won't happen this year. You can put us down as the likely winners."

Jeffrey Van Hooydonk - A+ Racing: "In the third qualifying session I tried to put in a final fast lap, and it came off.....until that devilish Anthony went under my time in the final session. We couldn't counter as we had used up our stock of tyres."

Bas Leinders - GPR Pino Racing: "Before this weekend I didn't really know much about GPR Pino Racing... but last year they won the race, grabbed the title and they are now leading the provisional ranking in the championship. With all that you know that you a chosen for a good team.."

Wim Lumbeeck - A+ Racing: "I gave up my final qualifying run to Guido Werckx, in order for him to become acquainted with the car. Unfortunately Guido committed a gear change error coming out of the Villeneuve with some esthetical damage as a result. For the 24 Hours of Zolder the old gearbox was fitted seeing we couldn't really assess the full reliability of the sequential version."

Armand Fumal - MPM Racing by Verbist: "We have two good divers and the car is in perfect condition. Together with Michel, Markus and Jos we managed to find the ideal set-up and on the strategy front its looking bright. Similar to the GT3s we'll be working mainly with third and fourth gears."

Ron Marchal - Belgium Racing: "Our start number is 222 and that's what you would get if you added the ages of all our drivers together. Notwithstanding that we're going for a podium. I always drive to win and in my opinion with AD Sport / Belgium Racing we have the best package."

Vincent Vosse - Sport Garage: "During the second qualifying session I was a bit too enthusiastic going through the Chicane. Cutting it off I went too far over the high krbs, and the car took off. So as not to further damage the Ferrari F430 I parked the car on the grass.

Bert Moritz - Moritz Racing: "It is always a great pleasure to compete here in Belgium!"

Tim Verbergt - JD by Astromega: "We still can't ind the ideal set-up. I reckon we have tried just about everything. What will it be in the race? He team still has a full day in which the solve the matter..."

Jean-Claude Voets - McDonald's Racing Team: "For us the qualifying sessions went quietly and our French guest drivers have managed to adapt perfectly. We're ready for the race."
