Powercars Racing: first unlucky team in the Menzo 24 Hours of ZolderBefore the start of the 24 Hours race Powercars Racing is in the pit box. Following on from a small problem discovered earlier this week regarding a seal in the gearbox, it was decided to replace same before the start of the race. However during the repairs further major problems reared their heads. Apparently they cannot open up the gearbox and the "simple replacement of a seal" isn't quite as self-evident.
With less than one hour before the start of the endurance race all efforts are being made to repairs the gearbox of the Porsche 996 GT3 Cup with start number 123 and hopefull take the start from their position on the grid.  VZW 24u.be - Gordon McKay on Saturday 30 August 2008 at 15:29. |
