ProSpeed Competition leading after six hours - Pure suspense!

After six hours of racing the teams have finally distanced themselves from one another. Between the third and sixth hour ProSpeed Competition took over the lead from the MPM Racing by Verbist Porsche 996 GT3 RS. The Porsche works team is systematically clocking up the laps. Presently Davix Loix has a lap and a half lead over the Ferrari F430 GT3 of Sport Garage. Thee Ferrari needs to call in more often, whereby the strong quartet is retarded every hour.

KRK Racing is holding its place. Both Koen and Kris Wauters as also Patrick Scheurs and Jan Heylen are keeping to a tight pace and are presently able to keep off the attack from NGT Racing. Ward Sluys is surprising one and all with his competitive lap times in the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup S of NGT. In fifth place we find the Porsche 996 GT3 RS of Palttala and team mates; Michel Pulinx and Armand Fumal have reduced the pace, resulting in a backlog of some five laps.

The Ferrari F430 GT3 of Francorchamps Motors is now in sixth spot. Notwithstanding two stop & go penalties (10 seconds and 3 minutes) the car is back in the race, even though six laps down on the leaders. JD by Astromega also still have a car in the top-ten with their Porsche 996 RS .De Laet and co are lapping in eighth place, ahead of the First Motorsport Porsche 997 GT3 Cup with start number 8.

Belgium Racing hasn't had an easy race. Ron Marchal explains: "Early on in the race the servo pump gave up the ghost. It's hard going at the wheel. Driving double stints I out of the question and the GT3s are driving at a blistering pace. We sticking to driving our own race and we'll see where we are in the early hours. "

In the meanwhile Anthony Kumpen has also climbed back into the top-ten, after the earlier brake problem. "We hope that we have now had our share of bad luck ", his team mat Vincent Radermecker remarked. "Mot probably a small stone got jammed in the brakes which in turn caused a leak. "

In D2 Speedlover is leading with their #164, whereas the Ginetta bearing start number 321 is the sole remaining entrant in Division 4.
